It's always fun after Memorial Day, when the yard sale stuff that didn't sell winds up back at the Gift House. Here's a picture of ever-cheerful Bill Reiher trying to wade through the things that were dropped off this morning before we opened. Hey, it would be so sweet if people paid a little attention to the sign.

WEAVING - WALL ART
This home-made wall art has the round shape of a Dreamcatcher, but it could be causing nightmares instead.
It arrived a week ago.
Come try it out.
ANCIENT NORWOOD SEWING MACHINE
Gorgeous and haunted but not in working order.
According to Dave Carderelli, engineer extraordinaire, ( see below ) it is 100 - 120 years old.

FOLK ART LAMP
Another amazing instance of Cape Kitsch arrives at the Gift House. This isn't one of those fake Christmas Tree Shop numbers made in China. This is the real McCoy, handmade and conceived by a Cape Cod nostalgia nut. Nevermind that the seagull and ship are totally out of proportion.

VINTAGE POTATO HEAD
He's covered in dust. Come by and grab this old Mr. Potato Head in golfing attire. Clean him up and make him yours.
ELECTRIC WOK!
This is a classic electric wok, probably purchased while watching an informercial on TV. These woks work well!
PRAISE THE KITSCH GODS
We see loads of lighthouses at the Gift House. And we get tons of Christmas stuff year long. But rarely do these two themes come together in such a beguiling way. Even a full moon! Praise the Kitsch Gods.
